First great announcement of the year!
We’ll be partnering with Motors Formula Team to provide engineering support to their racing and eSports operations this season.
Based between Monaco & Mauritius, @mftracing are currently competing in French Formula 4 with their driver Noah Andy and are aiming to compete in GT4 racing in Europe this year.
They are also in the process of bringing a team together to compete in Gran Turismo Sport and iRacing championships, so we’re looking forward to working with them at the real and virtual trackside to bring home some golds :-)
We’ve been working quite intensely to polish the application of our engineering skills onto the dynamic trackside environment of motorsport over the last year so it’s an exciting opportunity to get involved with a such an ambitious team on their journey.
Jahee had the following words:
I think working together is going to present some great opportunities to us and i’m excited to watch plans come together this season.
MFT’s Director, Ludovic clearly has a lot of passion for what he’s doing so it’s going to be great to help him on the engineering front.
MFT have been using simulators for their driver training for many years and are already established in the GT Sport world, but high level eSports in iRacing is a new experience for us at Wavey Dynamics so it will be great to gain some experience there, i can only see it growing.
It’s a great platform for young drivers and engineers to access some very realistic vehicle and handling models to develop their skills. Anything that lowers the barriers to entry in motorsport is a positive.
We both share a lot of ideas and ambitions, including our wishes to increase Black diversity within motorsport and a vision to represent the first black racing team at the Le Mans 24 hour race, so it’s going to be great to work with each other to make that happen.
Keep an eye on our socials for updates as they come!
